Question? How can I lose body fat while keeping all the quality muscle that I have been working so hard to put on? Jeramy: It seems that a lot of people are afraid of doing cardio- because they are afraid that they will lose muscle. This is not true, doing cardio will speed the metabolic rate making it easier for your body to utilize proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Cardio will increase the oxygen in your system making it easier for your body to repair and recover from training with weights. Which in turn will help you to gain muscle quicker. The more muscle you carry the more calories you will burn. With out sounding like an add I do recommend Hydroxycut by Muscle Tech, The ingredients have been proven to preserve muscle and burn fat.
Question? What if any vitamins should I take? Jeramy: It is recommended you follow what ever your Doctor tells you to take. Although not all Doctors agree on supplements, almost all will agree that Americans do need to take a multivitamin/ multimineral. Of course it is best to get our nutrition from whole foods. Unfortunately we are not getting the proper balance of vitamins or minerals from our diets today. I recommend a good quality multivitamin/mineral, and an antioxidant formula. If you are taking any sort of thermogenic or fat burner I recommend a Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium complex. Please remember your medical history is of major importance and always follow your personal Physician's advice.
Question? With spring quickly approaching how can I get abs by this summer? Jeramy: With out knowing your medical history or your bodyfat level I'm going to give you some basics. 1. Visualize success: What do you what your abs to look like? Get a mental picture; cut it out from a magazine if you have to. 2. Diet: Clean up your diet. In order to see those abs you got to get that fat off. If you don't know what to do for a diet you can purchase one from me. I specialize in nutrition all you have to do is check out the on-line catalog, you will see the different options available to you. You will recieve a specialized diet based on your specific needs, it will have your food choices for each meal, proper amounts of protein, starchy carbohydrates, fiberous carbohydrates as well as recommended supplements. 3. Cardio: In order to burn that fat- now is the time to get busy with cardio. You have to get your heart rate up for an extended period of time 30 mins or longer. Start out with 3-4 days per week. 4. Abdominal training: Here is what I recommend as a basic plan: a.)Incline abdominal crunches - 3 sets b.)Lying leg raises - 3 sets c.)Rope Crunches - 3 sets For best results train abs twice per week and take minimal rest between sets.
